Coleman PerfectFlow InstaStart 2 Burner Stove

Coleman PerfectFlow InstaStart 2-Burner StoveOnce you have taken a look at the Coleman PerfectFlow InstaStart 2 Burner Propane Stove you will realize what an excellent stove it really is. This compact propane stove comes with many advantageous features that are so important when you want reliability. The stove is fitted with the Coleman InstaStart push button ignition that makes it a breeze to start every time. My favorite feature is the PerfectFlow propane pressure control that controls the flow of the fuel to each of the two BTU burners whatever the weather or altitude. The burners are fully adjustable and will burn for about one hour using one 16.4-oz propane cylinder (sold separately). This means that you do not have to worry about anything as it delivers time after time. The PerfectFlow propane pressure will even work when it is low on fuel!

The Coleman PerfectFlow InstaStart 2 Burner Propane Stove also uses what is called ‘PerfectHeat’ technology which involves the recessed cooking tops and the burner position which has been lowered. This ‘PerfectHeat’ technology helps create a better cooking heat than normal. To assist this, the stove has fold down side panels that help protect the burners from the elements – where ever you are. If you do not need the side panels in the protect position, they can be folded down and used as handy shelves.
As for the cleaning of this excellent stove, you have no worries there! The stove come in a is a rust resistant enamel painted case and has a rigid removable nickel-chrome grate that are so easy to clean.
At a price like this the Coleman PerfectFlow InstaStart 2 Burner Propane Stove should be one of the first stoves that you look at!

Identify the type of use it will be getting. Will you be cooking for groups or just yourself and maybe one other person? What kind of camping will you be doing- camping out of a car or backpacking on trails? Will you mainly be boiling water or using a pan/pot to cook food- do you need it to simmer or is flame control not that important? What kind of fuel is readily available by you and where you will be traveling? What time of year will you mainly be using it?

Those are the main considerations I will be thinking about when purchasing a stove. If your cooking for a large group you want something a little larger to accommodate larger pots and pans, possibly even double burners, which they make in propane models and backpacking models. If it`s just for personal use then I`d go with something more light weight and fuel efficient. Obviously if you`re camping out of a car you can take the reliable green Coleman double burner propane stove, its a beast compared a stove you would take backpacking. The type of cooking is also important will you just be boiling water to rehydrate meals/cook pasta and rice or will you need to have total flame control so you can saute your stir-fry and keep the meal warm in the pan? Also what kind of fuel is available and practical for you to use? You don’t want to haul bottles of propane if you are going to be backpacking for a week, but maybe canisters aren’t readily available so you`d have to go with a white gas. Will you be mainly camping spring through fall or do you also camp in winter? Canisters are not as reliable and efficient in cold temperatures because they lose their pressure but liquid fuel is a little heavier but more reliable during those winter months.

I would stick with 4 brands- MSR, Snow Peak, Primus, and Coleman. Now some will say if you are backpacking stay away from Coleman but I was on their website the other night and they have come a long way with innovative backpacking stoves. The first 3 are top of the line brands but they also have inexpensive basic models that will more likely fit your needs.

So write down your answers to the questions and the other poster`s tips bring it to an employee of a reputable outdoor store such as EMS, REI, or Campmor (those are the 3 major ones by me) and I am sure he can find a stove that will meet your needs. Remember you get what you pay for in both quality of product and quality of customer service should any problems arise.

Coleman 1-burner Liquid Fuel StoveWhat a great little stove. This easy to use compact Coleman Dual Fuel 533 is highly recommended if you are looking for something that is compact and economical to use. This stove will cater for most of your camp cooking needs and comes equipped with a 10,500 BTU burner. The single burner is fully adjustable and can boil a quart of water in four minutes. The fuel tank holds 1.1 pints and can burn up to 2 hours on a high setting. Fitted with the Coleman WindBlock system that protects the burner from the elements to give a maximum heat in all weather conditions. The stove is a must for single campers or small families that only require a single burner. The other great point is the fact that it runs on either the clean Coleman liquid fuel or you can use unleaded gasoline. This is advantageous when liquid fuel is unavailable but you will find the Coleman liquid fuel burns for longer and is a lot cleaner than gasoline. In fact, to be truly honest, I would only use gasoline as a last resort as it can clog up the generator tubing in a short space of time. Something you don’t really need if you are out in the sticks! You will find that a single tank of fuel will typically last for 3-5 days of camping.

One thing I would like to mention is the fact that this stove is not recommended if you are wanting it for back-packing as it is weighs 2.4 pounds which is heavier than some other single burner stoves. Having said that that the price of around $50 this is a good buy and you would not be disappointed with it. The stove come with a filter funnel for clean and easy fuel filling.

There is no doubt that these little versatile stoves can last a long time and give many years of pleasure if looked after properly.

So how do we sum up. The Coleman Dual Fuel 533 is easy to light, boils water quickly which will save on your fuel. It is easy to refuel and stands sturdy. Highly recommended at the price.

Product dimensions: 7.1 x 6.9 x 6.6 inches.

Breakfast at my campsite always includes some of last nights dinner. For example, if you make pork chops for dinner its pork chops and eggs for breakfast. Try to meal plan where you can cook extra amount of something for one meal and use it in the next. If you make biscuits for dinner make a lot and have biscuits and sausage gravy for breakfast.

All In One Alcohol Stove Improved

I took my previous design of the All In One Penny Stove and added a “Crumb Catcher” which was bought at Lowe’s. I also used a thumb screw to secure the Crumb Catcher to the top of the penny stove after the fuel was put in. The video is a bit dark, but I added pictures so you could see what it looks like before and after assembly. This has turned out to be one of my favorite stoves. I like that the flame stays near the bottom of the keg pot and does not travel too far up the sides. This keeps the pot from getting charred. In the video I used 3/4 ounce of Heet in the stove and 2 small squirts of Heet in the pre heater. I think it really only needs 1 small squirt of Heet because the preheat time is approximately 25 seconds. I also used 1 and a half cups of water in the Keg Pot. The stove definately supports the weight and does not tip over. The only downfall to this stove so far is that it is almost as tall as a full soda can, but I am working on a shorter design. Hopefully this will make it easier to store. Music Used In The Video Is: Better Leave That Stuff Alone by Will Shade Note: If you don’t know what a Crumb Catcher is, it’s a small stainless steel basket that you place in your sink drain and it catches crumbs that would otherwise fall down the drain. Stay tuned for Outtakes coming soon.
